What is the best antivirus on the market?
I currently use Trend Micro Internet Security Suite Pro 2009. My subscription is due to expire in mid May, and I am looking for an alternative as I am not interested in renewing with TM or purchasing a new TM product. I am not satisfied with the product and find it to be a resource hog. I would like to know what products people recommend, both free and cost-efficient that are on the market, that provide decent antivirus protection without hogging resources or bogging down internet speed. With my PC configurations, there is not need for it to be such a resource hog. Spam protection and firewall are also a plus, but not a must.
