How do I go about this bike buying situation?
This guy about 30min away has a 00′ suzuki gs500e I am extremely interested in. Ive done a ton of research on the bike and love everything Ive read. I was supposed to go see it one Friday but the guy who was supposed to come with me canceled at last minute and I had to tell the guy I couldn’t make it. I found out the guy is in school and his bike is at his parents house so he is limited to the times he can show it. He is asking for $2000 but honestly I don’t have $2000 right now. Maybe I could pull it together in a month but her doesn’t know I dont have the money. The bike is posted online and has been up for 2-3weeks. I am starting to get nervous that someone else is going to come along and pick off the bike. I haven’t seen this bike around anywhere relatively close. How can I make this situation to almost guarantee I can get this bike? How should I go about doing things and what should I say?

have a bill of sale made up, both sign, and date, include how much the deposit is, and when the balance is to be paid, along with the estimated pick-up date…
