Internet Marketing Mogul
Which Sprint cell phone is better for me?
Right now I have a Palm Treo 700 and besides me occasionally wanting to throw it out the window… I like some of the characteristics of it.
I am in the market for a new phone from Sprint.
Need these to be included in my phone:
Fast Internet
Text messaging
Sprint TV
Music
Great reception
The phones that are currently on my list are;
MOTO Q 9c by Motorola
Samsung ACE
Touch by HTC
Mogul by HTC
8830 by BlackBerry
BlackBerry Curve 8330
Or the one I am about 50% in favor of… Is the Samsung Instinct, however it doesn’t come out for another few weeks.
Any help of the pros and cons of these will greatly be appreciated!
Oh and also the Palm Centro is another in my list.
The Mogul and Touch have the best third party support, but Touch does not nice Touch screen keyboard even with the Diamonds touch screen keyboard installed. I went from a Treo to a slide out keyboard form factor and the transition wasn’t as hard as you would expect. So the Mogul should be there on your list for sure. Plus the Mogul is the only one of the bunch with Wifi so you don’t always have to use your data or if you dont get reception use it instead. Both the Mogul and Touch have many third party update/roms that add features. The Mogul also has GPS support. You can also get threaded SMS on both devices, which is a very nice feature.
The Ace is a decent phone but if you want a non touch screen WM device better look at the Q9c as it now has WM6.1 update, which adds cut and paste and threaded sms(features non touch devices did not have). Additionally, the Q has extended battery standard, which is nice bonus.
The BB Curve has a very nice keyboard and the size is very nice. I would recommend this over the 8830, unless you really need the GSM support it has. Plus you get a camera which comes in handy and also has GPS support. I would also recommend the 8330 over the Ace and the Q.
So, I would say go into the store and and check out the Curve, and the Mogul, as they are two of the better devices. Try them out and see which one you like the best, and gets the best reception in your area.
