Organizing Your Internet Marketing Business – Have You Done This?

Email can take a lot of time, so set-up times for taking care of it twice during the business day.

As time goes on you will get both e-mail and “snail” mail about your business. So set aside maybe two half hour periods for reading/replying/filing all mail. This allows you to maintain your focus on business and prevents any important mail from slipping through the cracks.

You know IM related emails need to be addressed no more than a day or two after receiving them. What this approach does is remove the perceived urgency of every incoming email, and so that way it’s much easier to maintain good focus.

Organize your e-mails. The system you use for organizing your e-mails does not need to be difficult. Just assign each client to their own folder, then keep all your emails from clients in their respective folders. Doing this will result in your inbox only containing emails that still require your attention. Also, year-based folders can reveal data for each client and the amount of business you had.

When you schedule an appointment, be sure to write and record it on a personal calendar, or in an appointment book if you keep one. For appointments that won’t happen for a while, you can set-up email reminders to help you get ready. Avoid any delays with recording appointments because if you get in the habit of doing that one day you’ll miss an important appointment and that won’t be good. No one wants to forget about an important conference call or meeting that’s important to business. So you can easily avoid problems by just taking a moment to write down your appointments.

Organizing your business helps you earn more money. This will only force you to be more efficient and smooth running. Keeping track of your business is much easier when you take some time to organize it!
